Titmuss Meinhardt Memorial Fund Research Scholarships
There is one scholarship per year, open to both Home/EU and overseas applicants, depending on available resources, with three years funding available for suitable students undertaking PhD research on the Welfare State in the Department of Social Policy.
Please note that recipients of this scholarship will be subject to an annual performance review for continued funding.

Application is made via the LSE Research Studentship scheme. All MRes/MPhil/PhD students who receive an offer of admission by 31 May 2011 will be automatically invited to apply to the LSE Research Studentship scheme. If you are made an offer of admission for an MRes/MPhil/PhD programme, the Postgraduate Research Scholarship application form will be made available to you on Graduate Admissions' web tracker system.

You will be notified of the decision by the Financial Support Office by the end of August 2011. The level of assistance given is determined by each academic department and is most usually a contribution towards fees.
