CONACYT/LSE Graduate Scholarship Programme
Each year LSE part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with CONACYT.
LSE contributes 25% of the total tuition fee liability for a number of scholars selected by CONACYT under their standard award programme. CONACYT cover the remaining fee balance. CONACYT normally expect their awards to be repaid following graduation, however the LSE contribution is not repayable.
Applications for these awards should be made directly to CONACYT, under the Convocatoria de Becas-Credito al Extranjero, following their established procedures. You must apply directly to LSE for a place on a programme of study at the same time.
Applicants selected by CONACYT, who are also offered a place on a programme at LSE, will then automatically qualify for the 25% fee contribution. There are no subject restrictions from LSE's point of view, but CONACYT may operate such restrictions, and details should be checked with them before application.
For further information on the application process, please refer to the CONACYT website.
