Said Foundation

The Said Foundation aims to bring positive and lasting change to the lives of children and young people in the Middle East. One of their objectives is to encourage the education of young people for whom such opportunities would not otherwise be available.

Each year the Said Foundation consider applications for funding for study at LSE. Four candidates who receive a scholarship from the Said Foundation will be eligible for an award from LSE for half the tuition fees.

Eligibility

The scholarships are available for a taught masters programme in any subject. Applicants should demonstrate that their chosen course of study will be of use to their home country or the Middle East region.

Applicants need to be Jordanian, Lebanese, Palestinian or Syrian, normally resident in the Arab world and not hold any form of British residency.

How to apply

You should apply for admission to a taught masters programme via Graduate Admissions.

You will then need to apply to the Said Foundation for a scholarship. In order to be considered for the LSE part of this scholarship you need to have secured a scholarship from the Said Foundation. The Foundation will then notify LSE of who will be getting the tuition fee top up.
