Ways to pay
Online payment via Hallpad
Once you have accepted your licence agreement in Hallpad, you can pay your accommodation fees conveniently and quickly via our secure payment service. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours after accepting your licence, until you can see your details.
Log in to Hallpad and select 'Make payment'
Next, select 'Login to payment system' to open the payment service
Select the bookings that you wish to make a payment against and choose the amount you would like to pay.
You can now pay by using a credit or debit card. If your payment is for £500 or more, you will also be able to select 'Pay by wire/bank transfer'.
Bank transfers via Hallpad
If your selected payment is for £500 or more, the system will allow you to pay via bank transfer. In the payment portal, select ‘Pay by wire/bank transfer'. You will then be supplied with the relevant bank details and a reference number you need to use when making the transfer.
Cheque payments by post
We still accept sterling (GBP) cheques or banker’s drafts. Please
make cheques payable to LSE,
write your student ID number onto the back of the cheque and
present it in person or post it to:

Other payment methods
We are unable to accept cash at any hall, but we can provide you with a paying in slip so you can deposit the cash into our account. The slip can be collected from the Residential Services office, but please contact us first.
If you are unable to pay online, please contact email@example.com, as we may be able to make alternative arrangements with you.
If you live at urbanest King's Cross, Lilian Knowles House or Anson and Carleton Road Flats, please contact your accommodation provider directly for information on how to pay or if you have any queries regarding your fee.
Payment deadlines and late payments
The second Friday after the start of each term is the deadline to pay your accommodation fees for that term.
Michaelmas Term: Friday 11 October 2013
Lent Term: Friday 24 January 2014
Summer Term: Friday 9 May 2014
Summer vacation: Friday 18 July 2014
Missing the deadline - late payment charges
If we haven't received your accommodation payment by the deadline, we will add a weekly charge of £5.00 to your account, until payment is made.
