Staying at your hall during Christmas or Easter

Is your accommodation agreement for 30 weeks only? Do you wish to stay at Carr-Saunders, Rosebery or Passfield Hall over the Christmas or Easter break?

Note: This page only contains information about accommodation during Christmas and Easter.  If you require accommodation during the summer vacation, please click here.

If you are on a 30 week contract you will be expected to move out of your room at the end of each term.

Outside of term-time, Carr-Saunders, Rosebery and Passfield Halls operate as bed & breakfast hotels. The revenue we receive from our vacation business enables us to keep your term time rent below market level.

If you wish to stay on during Christmas or Easter after your contract ends, or arrive before your contract starts, you need to book extra accommodation.

How to book and when to pay?

Visit reception, or alternatively email your hall via the contact box on the left to book your vacation stay, subject to availability.

Full payment must be made at the time of booking.  Bookings will not be made unless the payment is successful.

For students wishing to make a booking for week 0 of the Lent Term (3-7 January 2016), please visit reception to complete your booking by Friday 23 October 2015. If you are a late arrival to the School and have not yet registered you have until Sunday 31 October 2015 to complete your booking.

For any amendments to your booking following the release of exam timetable on 30 November, please confirm these to your reception by 6 December 2015.

Can I stay in my term-time room?

We cannot guarantee that you will be able to remain in your term-time room but we will advise you at the time of booking if you will be required to move room.

How much does it cost?

Please note, all students are offered a lower rate for staying in halls than standard commercial guests. However, rates vary throughout the vacation periods according to availability and the length of your stay. Please contact the reception of your hall or email vacations@lse.ac.uk for more information.
