For up-to-date information on the project programme/timescales please click on the 'Timetable' button. The project is due to start on site on 16th May 2011 and complete on 26th April 2013; making the overall construction duration 102 weeks.
Geoffrey Osborne have broken these 102 weeks down by building element as illustrated in the Gantt chart below. Demolition of the St Philips Buildings will take 10 weeks followed by a further 28 weeks of ground works. We do not expect to see the new building come out of the ground until February / March 2012 when works commence on the superstructure.
Site logistics presentations were made in March to the LSE community and neighbours of the St Philips site. Further presentations will be held in early and mid-2012 as the project progresses.
