Overview
In conjunction with the relevant managing editor(s), senior contributors have responsibility for and authority over one or more designated sections of the LSE website and/or its sub-sites. They work with the relevant managing editor(s) to plan the maintenance and development or their section(s) with relevance to resources (eg contributors) available.
They also work with the section's contributors to ensure web pages are maintained and developed in accordance with the plan and relevant standards.
Responsibilities

In conjunction with the relevant managing editor(s), plan the maintenance and development of their designated section(s) of the LSE website and/or its sub-sites.

Regularly review their designated section(s) of the LSE website and/or its sub-sites to ensure they accord with relevant plans and standards.

Communicate and co-operate with editors (eg regular meetings) and manage contributors to ensure work and supporting processes are both effective and efficient.

Maintain regular contact with Web Services to ensure that production and provision is in accordance with Web Services' standards and plans, and that best use is made of Web Services' services (eg Web Surgeries) and systems (eg CMS).
