Introduction

The purpose of this introduction is to provide practical information and insight into teaching and the support of student learning at LSE. The handbook combines in-house briefing for those who have taught elsewhere, alongside some basic tips and suggestions on planning, preparation and delivery of class teaching and assessment which are particularly aimed at those of you new to the profession. It includes examples of practice from past class teachings, ideas and tools from specific departments and links to further resources.

IMPORTANT NOTE
