The School is committed to recognising and rewarding the exceptional contribution and outstanding performance of individual members of staff and has systems in place to ensure this happens in a fair, consistent and timely way.
The School has recently revised its procedures for the consideration of contribution pay awards to academic support staff, with the aim of producing a fairer distribution of awards better aligned to management processes and School, departmental and individuals’ objectives.
The consideration of contribution awards for research and teaching staff – previously considered by the Academic Support Research and Teaching Contribution Committee – is transferring to the Non-Professorial Contribution Committee.
Guidance on Contribution Awards for specific staff groups is available here.
