Professional Services Seminar Series

The Professional Services Seminar series will cover a wide range of topics designed to help the professional and personal development of professional services staff. 

The programme for Michaelmas term 2016 is: 

Get that job  – November 25th 12 to 13.30

An HR Partner, Katy Suckling from Organisational Learning and the external consultant Peter Storr, author of “Getting that Job in 7 Simple Steps” will provide practical hints and tips about getting the ideal job in LSE and beyond 

Agents for change: PS staff, inclusion and the university context – December 15th 12 to 13.30

Joy Whyte will talk about what inclusion means in the university setting, and how this informs and can be impacted by the work of professional services staff. Using practical examples gained for Joy’s role with the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) taskforce, this interactive session will explore how PS staff can personally effect change in their own work, unit, and institution.

 

We hope as many staff as possible will attend; spaces are on a first come first served basis. To book a place on a session please click on the session title you are interested in. Lunch will be available.

We will be running many more session during Lent and Summer term.
