Managing pressure at work

Excessive or prolonged pressure in the workplace is a health and safety issue; a cost to the organisation and the individual; and can be prevented and alleviated by individuals and their managers.

Guidance on managing pressure at work aims to help managers and staff as individuals to manage pressure at work.

There is a Work Related Stress Risk Assessment (MS Word), which can be used to help identify possible causes of excessive pressure and suggest steps that can be taken to try to eliminate the risk.

There is also an Institutional Risk Assessment For Managing Work (MS Word) which identifies the actions taken by the School as an institution to avoid, mitigate or manage factors that could contribute to work-related stress.
