The Data Management Unit is responsible for:

  • maintaining the quality of student records held on the SITS database
  • checking the integrity of the data
  • defining the codes used
  • reporting on LSE's student population to the Higher Education Statistical Agency (HESA) and other external agencies

We provide training and advice to users throughout ARD and academic departments on how to use SITS effectively.

We also provide business objects reports of student examination results to the School's examination boards and generate pass lists for students, academic departments and the academic registrars' offices.

Please be aware that we are unable to provide verification of any former student's qualifications. For information on how to make such a request see Third party requests for verification of qualifications|.

E-Vision

The Data Management Unit has begun implementing various procedures through a web based version of the school's Student Record System called E-Vision. If you are one of the current users any E-Vision form and would like to report a problem or issue, please complete this form|.
