LSE has confirmed its position as a world-leading research university, with an outstanding performance in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF).

The School's preparations for REF are overseen by the REF Strategy Committee (REFSC). The School has appointed two REF coordinators (Professors Barr and Buzan) who will be the link between REFSC and departments.
