This year, Britain has ten universities in the THES list - two fewer than in 2011. But only the London School Of Economics and Political Science and the University of Manchester managed to increase their ratings.
Gender course 'victimisation' case thrown out

Former LSE student Tom Martin has lost his claim for sexual discrimination against the university. Mr Martin dropped out of an MSc in gender, media and culture after six weeks because he claimed that he felt victimised by the preponderance of 'male-blaming propaganda' on the course.
