LSE largely follows the Economist guide but differs on some small matters as set out in the guidance PDF above, principally this is to do with job titles and dates.

The correct title of the School is either LSE or The London School of Economics and Political Science. London School of Economics should not be used on its own as it does not reflect the breadth of the School's work and contributes to the view that LSE is only concerned with economics.
The logo is the School's main marketing and publicity symbol. Its use is controlled by the External Relations Division (specifically, Communications) and it can only be used by LSE staff. Occasionally permission is given by the Director of External Relations for other organisations to use the logo. It must never be reset, redrawn or altered and there are rules regarding minimum size and clear space around it.

When you are producing a publication the address of the School should appear in full, normally on the back cover, together with direct contact details. This should generally be telephone, fax number, web and email addresses.
To protect the School's legal position, the phrase 'The London School of Economics and Political Science is a School of the University of London. It is a charity and is incorporated in England as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Acts (Reg no 70527)' must be incorporated in all School publications and on letterheads. This includes posters advertising events such as conferences which involve a fee to be paid to the School.
The School's equality statement should be incorporated in all publications:
'The School seeks to ensure that people are treated equitably, regardless of age, disability, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation or personal circumstances.'
In addition, all publications must be made available in other formats if requested, and should include the phrase: 'This information can be made available in alternative formats, on request. Please contact: [contact name, telephone number, email of person/office responsible for the publication]
Templates are available on the LSE website for commonly used stationery items, publication covers, posters/flyers and presentation slides. The templates, which are for LSE staff only, are available through access restricted links from the Design Unit website.
The templates are in Word and PowerPoint formats, together with example files in Acrobat PDF format which show how the completed templates may look. Using these standard formats will, we hope, save you time and effort, and will promote correct use of the School's logo and visual identity.
