An area of the sportsground is rotovated clear over the course of one year. The ground is then seeded with wildflower seed.

A Fox cub in the spring, this year we had six cubs living in the grounds.
A Little Egret made the sportsground home for several months this year and was regularly seen sitting alongside the Herons that are here year round.
A duck surveying the grounds from the remains of a willow tree that was struck by lightning and now plays host to year round wildlife activity.
The same willow tree as above and this Little Owl enjoyed sitting here watching for unsuspecting prey.
Not exactly native to the UK but we can see dozens of these paraquettes here all year.
