Submitting a proposal

If you plan to use a public space within the School, please submit a proposal to the Arts Advisory Group by emailing arts@lse.ac.uk|. Please find the proposal form and submission guidelines here|. All proposals must contain the following information:

  • Detailed description of event or project envisioned
  • Objective/ rationale behind plans
  • Target audience
  • Expected benefits to the Schoolphoto prize 11
  • Key people involved
  • Timings (when you want the event to take place, duration etc.)
  • Any links with academic agendas/ topical issues
  • If you are making a bid for funding, please also see Funding and donations

The Arts Advisory Group meets once a term and will consider all proposals then. If you need urgent permission, please note this on your bid and we will endeavour to reply as soon as possible.

All proposals will be assessed against certain key institutional objectives, the intrinsic merit of the work and other criteria linking to the academic values and activity here at the School. Proposals should also show logistical and financial practicability.
