Domestic demand for poultry and eggs in Indonesia is largely met by a handful of commercial producers. Many hands will come in contact with these products before they are ultimately consumed. Here, a young man rests after transporting eggs from Medan to Aceh. His father, mother and brother work in the adjoining room, sorting the eggs in order to resell them at local markets in Aceh.
