New Years storm

Daniel Bear, a PhD student from the Department of Social Policy.

2008 started off with a storm so intense that ancient Redwood trees were pulled from their roots many miles up the coast, and washed up along the flooded beach in Santa Cruz, California. We crossed into the new year reminded clearly of nature's power and our own insignificance.
