"A young Cambodian girl ran up to me at a bus stop halfway between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, trying to sell me a tarantula. For $1, I could have a new hairy 8-legged pet...or, as she offered, a fried crunchy delicacy. I politely declined, snapped a picture, and ran back to the bus."
