"This photo was taken in Lake Tahoe, California and represents the natural world at risk. A plane flies over evergreen trees, explicating the juxtaposition between the modern and the natural. The black and white photo has an ominous and foreboding tone, yet hints of green are visible in the branches as if the tree were trying to reclaim its natural essence through the bleak wash of black and white (as a metaphor for technology)."
