Stilt House

Stilt House_476x268

This picture was submitted by Louise Lau, an undergraduate student in the Geography Department.

How the photo relates to the theme of 'risk':

"This picture is taken in Tai O, a small fishing village on the western side of Hong Kong. The row of stilt houses reveals an element of risk in rural Hong Kong, which is a significantly contrasting side from its renowned identity as one of the world's top financial centre."
