"Two hours after shooting this photograph, Mountain Rescue were called to the aid of an ice climber who had fallen over 100ft climbing Cwm Idwal on the opposite banks of Llyn Idwal. The rescue was successful but one of the most difficult in the rescue team's history due to the conditions."
