"Perhaps in the most literal sense, 'Devotion' is a blatant embodiment of risk; soldiers put their lives on the line every day to save others. This image compares today's Greek soldier with Greece's traditional 'evzone' soldier to show that risks are ultimately continuous and ceaseless across time and space."
