A Little too Close for Comfort

A little too close for comfort_476x357

This picture was submitted by Audrey Cherryl Mogan, a graduate student in the Sociology Department.

How the photo relates to the theme of 'risk':

"Despite its short legs, stocky size and pig like features - hippos can easily outrun humans, are incredibly aggressive and are often regarded as the most ferocious animal in Africa.

The photo was taken on a small boat on the Nile River in Uganda, less than 100 metres away from a group of hippos. Risky."
