This year's winners of the Photo Prize Exhibition 2009 have been announced. The winners, chosen by a panel of selectors, are Xuan Cao for the photograph 'House of Terror', Sylvia Chant for the photograph 'Deeper', Matilde Emma Gawronski for the photograph 'Firewall', and Bruno Serdoura for the photograph 'Memories from Poland'.
The winners were announced at a reception held at the School on Tuesday 24 February. In addition to receiving a certificate and a bottle of champagne, each winning entry is also now available as a limited edition postcard, which can be obtained by emailing email@example.com
Pro-director professor Sarah Worthington, who led the proceedings, said: 'In having academic and administrative staff, undergraduate and post graduate students submit, we are fortunate to receive such a splendid range of images taken from across the globe; from London and Dublin to Cairo and Ramallah; from Gambia and Honduras, to Mexico and Singapore.'
This year's exhibition will be displayed in the Atrium until Friday 20 March. For more information about the exhibition or LSE ARTS contact Richard Hylton, arts co-ordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or on ext 3793.
