LSE Arts public exhibition
Dates: Monday 11 May - Friday 12 June 2015
Time: 10am-8pm, Mon-Fri
Venue: Atrium Gallery, Old Building
In association with LSE Arts, the LSESU Visual Arts Society annual exhibition will showcase artwork produced by students from the LSE. The display will feature artwork produced by members of the society created over this academic year's weekly life drawing sessions, as well as artwork from non-members which range from paintings to calligraphy and photography.
This exhibition provides artistic students at LSE the opportunity to display their talented skillsets to the wider LSE community. It hopes to promote the society to the rest of the student body and encourage them to explore their creativity.
The exhibition is generously supported by the LSE Annual Fund.
This exhibition is open to all, no ticket required. Visitors are welcome during weekdays (Monday - Friday) between 10am and 8pm (excluding bank holidays, when the school is closed, for example at Christmas and Easter). The exhibition will close from midday on Friday 12 June 2015. For further information email arts@lse.ac.uk| or phone on 020 7107 5342.
Just economics and politics? Think again. While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies, the annual LSE photo prize competition, the LSE Literary Festival and artist-in-residence projects. For more information please view the LSE Arts| website.
