LSE Arts public exhibition
Date: Monday 22 April - Friday 14 June 2013
Time: Monday - Friday, 10am-8pm
Venue: Atrium Gallery, Old Building
Over the course of the academic year, members of the LSE SU Visual Arts Society produce large amounts of impressive artwork. This is created at weekly life drawing sessions, as well as at themed workshops and through the inspiration gained during gallery visits. This is the second annual year-end exhibition for the LSE SU Visual Arts Society.
The artistic talents of the LSE student body are too often overlooked and this exhibition will allow these student artists the opportunity to display their works to the wider LSE community. The society hopes to stimulate the rest of the student body to think and express themselves in a creative manner.
Presented by the LSE SU Visual Arts Society. Generously supported by the LSE Annual Fund.
This exhibition is open to all, no ticket required. Visitors are welcome during weekdays (Monday - Friday) between 10am and 8pm (excluding bank holidays, when the school is closed, at Christmas and Easter, or unless otherwise stated on the web listing). For further information email email@example.com or phone on 020 7107 5342.
Just economics and politics? Think again. While LSE does not teach arts or music, there is a vibrant cultural side to the School - from weekly free music concerts in the Shaw Library, and an LSE orchestra and choir with their own professional conductors, various film, art and photographic student societies, the annual LSE photo prize competition, the LSE Literary Festival and artist-in-residence projects. For more information please view the LSE Arts website.
From time to time there are changes to event details so we strongly recommend that if you plan to attend this event you check back on this listing on the day of the event.
