06 New Life Among Ancient Structures

This picture was taken by Ahila Thillainathan, a postgraduate in the Social Policy Department. It was taken at Durham cathedral during heritage weekend

I was taking photos of Durham cathedral (whose construction was started in 1093) very early in the morning when I came across this crow. The crow was gathering twigs to build its nest and it seemed like it paused for a moment for me to take a photo.

The next image is A Snail at East Building Roof Gardens.
