Raised in the UK, despite not visiting my homeland Iran since birth, I’ve been surrounded by Persian customs and values. This has created a cultural duality for me of my personal foundations. Western essence, my social foundation, I find, is ever wrapped in my Persian heritage, my beginnings and principles.
