06 Orthodox Priest in Ethiopia|

In Lalibela, Ethiopia, it is the foundation of Orthodox Christianity that unites the population. For centuries, pilgrims have hiked to this village in the mountains to pray in magnificent monolithic rock-carved churches. It is in one of these churches that we see a priest holding a traditional Axumite cross, gifted by King Lalibela in the 12th century.
