The “Fabian Window” as designed by George Bernard Shaw in 1910 lies at LSE Foundations. The Fabian Political Think Tank, founded in 1884 was formed to educate and agitate! The Fabian society ‘seed funded’ the formation of LSE; with Beatrice, Sidney Webb, Graham Wallas and G.B Shaw founding the institution. Research, teaching, critical debate and societal impact remain at the core; as represented by the open text book.
