This picture was taken by Jarrett Bunnin, a postgraduate in the International Relations department. It was taken in Glencoe, in the Scottish Highlands.
Taking this picture was a relatively nonchalant process in its entirety. I was hiking with my American buddy Steven through the Scottish highlands of Glencoe, and we came across this river in the middle of the tiny village of Glencoe itself. On the banks of this river there were these magnificent, wondrously beautiful moss-covered trees (still not sure what type as I'm not an expert on Scottish Botany...), and I just had to grab a snap as the sun was setting behind yet more (what a surprise) Scottish cloud cover, so I had to be quick. I simply hit the point and shoot button on Manual mode on my Canon Digital SLR whilst setting the aperture and shutter speed at moderate opening and speed rates, since the lighting was already perfect, and boom, the picture.
The next image is St. James Park, a scene befitting a picture book|.
