I was visiting forts in Jaisalmer, India when I looked up and saw how grand and intricate the forts looked especially their window carvings. The golden sandstones which were used to construct the entire city perfectly set of the contrast against the blue sky as its backdrop. Jaisalmer is known as the Golden city due this very reason.
