This picture was taken by Arthur Owor, a postgraduate student in the International Development department. It was taken in Fort Patiko (Baker’s Fort) ,Ajulu Parish, Patiko Sub-County, Gulu District, Northern Uganda.

I took the photograph at this historical site in Gulu district. It was used by Arabs during the slave trade period and until Sir. Samuel Baker de-fortified it. The place remains a tourist attraction.
