005 The Preying Mantis|

This picture was taken by Cleo Pearson, a undergraduate student in the Geography department. It was taken in Ghana. 

We were clearing trees to build a new wall when we came across this fella. Even though I knew he couldn't hurt me, his alien eyes and peculiar body really spooked me. He was absolutely fascinating.
