This picture was taken by Liz Chapman, the Director of Library Services at the LSE Library. It was taken at the Shard in London in April 2013.
This picture was taken on my first trip to the top of the Shard during a rainstorm. The storms circled London allowing for a long clear view, clouds and a rainbow by turns. It was Friday evening rush hour so we could see lines of commuters scuttling across the bridge and trains snaking their way out of Cannon Street.
