This photo was taken from on top of Borobudur, an ancient Buddhist temple in Central Java, Indonesia. We were on top the temple by 4am and waited for the sun to rise. It was incredible to watch how the growing intensity of the sunrise highlighted new features on the temple and in the surrounding area.
