11 Tibetan Prayer Flags

Tibetan-Prayer-Flags-2_477

This picture was taken by David S. Lee, a postgraduate student from the Department of Social Psychology. It was taken at Namtso Lake, Tibet (elevation 4,718 meters/15,479 feet) in May 2010.

Taking a break from work, my travels took me to Namtso Lake, historically a destination for Tibetan pilgrims. Watching these prayer flags flutter as the wind carried their pleas heavenward, a stillness filled my soul. I remember that moment when I seek stillness in the busyness of life.
