On a wet Saturday afternoon in June after a conference held in Liverpool I travelled to see Another Place. Anthony Gormley’s life size statues are placed on a broad beach facing the estuary of the Mersey and the sea across to Ireland. Despite the rain and wind the site and the sight was inspiring and peaceful. I recommend you check the tide tables before visiting.
