During the Korean war, a train was delivering supplies when it was caught in a skirmish on what is now the border between North and South Korea. The train suffered significant damage but the South has decided to keep it at the border as a permanent reminder of both the violence of the war and the seemingly permanent state of war the two countries are locked in.
