This picture was taken by Musfira Shaffi, an undergraduate student from the Department of Sociology. It was taken at LSE during Pakistan Week in February 2009.

This is a juxtaposition of two very different cultures; two different modes of transport; two different types people, language and art. They coexist fleetingly in this picture, but outside the frame it is a lot harder to attempt to merge the two.
