This photo was taken in one of the many small Malagasy villages that we passed while travelling by famous train from Manakara to Fianarantsoa in Madagascar.
Every time we stopped we were surrounded by people selling locally produced/grown goods - bananas, samosas or, in this case pepper. For many of these people the money from that sale was the only income they had.
