This picture was taken by Val Straw a member of staff from the library. It was taken on 21 May 2011 at the Brighton Festival.
This photo was taken in late afternoon in Brighton. The Art deco market, now almost derelict, was being used for a Festival exhibit from Turkey, but the sun pouring through the ceiling was even more striking than the art. Coming out, the light was now casting long shadows along the street.
