This picture was taken by Val Straw, a member of staff with the LSE Library. It was taken on May 21 2011 at a Warehouse used for an exhibition at the Brighton Festival.
This photo was taken one late afternoon in Brighton. The Art deco market, now almost derelict, was being used for a Festival exhibition from Turkey; the sun pouring through the ceiling was even more striking than the art. Outside, the light cast long shadows along the street.
