This picture was taken by Santiago Pardo Rodrguez, a postgraduate student from the Department of Anthropology and a member of the Colombian Society. It was taken on December 18 2010, in Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakesh-Morocco.
I took the picture while walking to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, recently affected by a terrorist attack which killed 15 people and injured another 20. In the midst of the Arab Spring, this picture is a reminder that the sky is the limit when you fight for your freedom against terror and oppression.
