These Muslim women and a boy paddle through one of the many lakes and canals that interconnect Srinagar, in the Kashmir valley. Physical and cultural borders become blurry in this breath-taking region of the world, which has long been a matter of dispute and which is partially claimed by India, Pakistan and China.
