This picture was taken by Josephine Hiu Yin Chuk, an LLM student in the Department of Law It was taken on December 23 2010 on the (frozen) Baltic Sea during an icebreaking journey in the Arctic Circle around Kemi, Finland.

The ship in the picture is the Icebreaker Sampo. The Icebreaker Sampo is also regarded as the "Arctic Heartbreaker", which sails on the icy Baltic Sea. Apart from crossing the sailing border, it crosses the border between ice and water and breaks the border between people and the sea.
