It was taken on January 8 2011, at La Rosiere in the French Alps.

I took it on our first day at the resort; we were just walking around familiarizing ourselves with the area whilst on the way for our first vin chaud. We noticed the sky turning pink and then within minutes the sun set and gave us this fantastic sight.
