This is the Hawa Mahal, a part of the City Palace in Jaipur situated in the heart of the city. Made of pink sandstone which famously gives Jaipur the name of being the 'Pink City', this palace is a fusion of Rajput and Islamic Mughal architecture. The intricate lattice windows are designed so the women of the palace could hide their features whilst looking out.
